WF: First of all thank you for the interview. How are you?
April: I'm good, thank
you! I'm looking forward to my first match in Germany soon.
WF: How
did you become a wrestler? April: I was a model. WCW saw my in Playboy and had me
come in for an interview. After a while of valeting for the nWo, I left
to become fully trained by Killer Kowalski...meanwhile, WCW and ECW
folded.
WF: Who are your idols in the wrestling business? Rey
Mysterio, Dean Malenko, Fit Finlay, Eddy Guererro, Jacqueline, Bull Nakano,
Ayako Hamada, YOSSINO, Dynamite Kid, Tiger Mask, Jerry Lynn, Rey
Mysterio.
WF: If you could choose an oponent, who would it be? April: I would
love to get in the ring With Dean Malenko or Jacqueline.
WF: You
started in WCW as a "n.W.o" Girl! How do you feel to be in WCW! How it was
backstage? Do you think that time it was professionell? April: It was crazy there.
I had fun, though. I was untrained, a model...more or less a "Diva
Search" contestant before they had them, so I'm lucky to have had the
opportunity. But yes, it was a nuthouse.
WF: The n.W.o was a big
Stable in the late 90`s! Whats your own meaning about this Guys, like
Nash and Hall? Is Nash really "Sexy"? April: I got along with everyone. Hall was
cool to me and I liked Nash as well. I'm sure a lot of ladies find Nash
to be the Big Sexy, but he wasn't really my type...so no.
 WF: What
can you say us about the WCW "Powerplant" ? April: I was never there.
WF:
You work in Japan, Europe and many independent promotions of America. Can you
tell us some differences betwenn the promotions and the Fans you wrestle?
April: They're all so different. In Japan, wrestling is sport. In Mexico, it's
a ritual-something families do every week. In Europe, UK and Canada, the
wrestlers are athletes. I am very glad to to have the chance to travel,
perform and learn from all over. True wrestling fans ROCK everywhere,
but I especially enjoy their reactions in Mexico, Europe, UK, Japan, Canada
and the southern part of the USA. They just get so INTO it...it makes
being in the ring that much more fun.
WF: You start your
professionell Carrer as a manager and a nWo Girl, sometimes you play in
Movies. Is it a opinion for you to perform on camera for more movies after
your wrestling carrer? April: I'm not sure yet. I just tend to run with the
ball if I get it.
WF: On january 20th of 2007 you are again in Germany!
What can you say about the "GSW" promotion and the german Fans? April: It's
my second time visiting Germany, which I love and think is beautiful...but
my first time wrestling there. I hope it will be a good time and sucessful
trip. And I hope the fans will want to come out to see me!
WF:
What can you say about TNA and Jeff Jarrett! Do you think TNA is the Ffuture
of professionell Wrestling? April: It's still too early to tell but I think
maybe not so far. Besides the x-division, they don't do much that's
innovative, so it's hard to be "the future" if you just follow and do what's
already been done.
WF: The former WWE wrestler Kurt Angle ist the newest
Pro-Wrestler who signed with TNA. Is it wrong to signed wrestler like him
with a lot of costs for a young promotion? April: No, I think they were smart
to grab him. He's a tremendous talent with name recognition. If done right,
they should be able to make their money back using him.
WF: We read,
that some of your favourite wrestlers are: Eddie Guererro, Dean Malenko,
Fit Finlay! They all are legends. Have you ever meet them? What can you
say about Eddie, his pass, Finlay & Malenko? April: Yes, I've met all of
them. I think they're all amazing wrestlers and am very glad to see
Finlay back in the ring. What can I say about Eddy that's not already
been said? It's sad. He was a living legend, the total wrestling package...
I have all his tapes from the indies and Mexico, I loved his style. I
guess we'll always remember him young and healthy.
 WF: Our
Webpage also reports about mixed martial arts organisations like UFC and
PRIDE. Are you watching UFC shows or ohter MMA events? April: Sometimes. I grew
up watching UFC, not pro wrestling. My dad was a amateur fighter and my
grandfather a boxer.
WF: Finally, do you have a message for your fans in
Germany, Austria and Switzerland? April:" Kommen Sie bitte sehen mich an GSW".
Did I say that right? Probably not! Come see me at GSW! For now, you can
find me on AprilHunter.com Danka!
xo, April
