WF: Hello Matt, first of all how are you? Do you feel good?
Matt:I'm doing
very well, thanks.
WF: It´s a pleasure to become an interview with you. You know, other
wrestlers (and former) with wwe contracts cant answer or won`t it. Why do you
give us the chance?
Matt:You're welcome, i'm happy to do it. You guys are giving me a chance
to spread my story to people who may be able to relate to it. Everyone goes
through struggles in life, but it's how you react to those struggles that
determines your life. I want as many people around the world to hear my story as
possible!
WF: In the last weeks we read something about your grandpa. We know that
he is very sick (alzheimer). Now, do you have any positive Information - can he
speak a little more and do you read about this sickness?
Matt: He passed
away a few months back. He's in a better place and my family is slowly dealing
with his passing. Yes, i've read about his sickness, it's very sad that there is
no cure.
WF: OK, now lets go to other, fine things! You are the Tough Enough 3
Champion! Can you tell us something about the weeks of Tough enough and the
trainers (Were they hard? Did you have fun with then?)
Matt: It was the most intense thing i have ever been through. It was alot
of fun, but very challenging. I made alot of good friends and learned alot of
the show.
WF: In Ohio Valley Wrestling , at a houseshow in july 2005, you broke
your leg in a Match against the The Blonde Bombers after a "bad" suplex. How is
your leg today? Does it "work" perfect again?
Matt: My leg is
100% fine. It took a few months to heal, but it is back to
normal.
WF: We read in the net that Nick Dinsmore (Eugene) and Bill De Mott with
Al Snow trained you! Have you still contact with the former Trainers? Are they
personally friends
Matt: I'm friends with all my trainers and talk to them all on occassion.
Lance Storm and Al Snow are the two guys i have learned the most
from.
WF: On 8th february, you announced the brain tumor was indeed cancerous!
How are you today? Do you have big pain? Is there a chance to "take it
away"?
Matt:I'm doing well, God has blessed me very much and I owe him
everything. I have no pain and am looking forward to what God has in store in my
life. All things are possible
WF: Before you could start on WWE TV, you made this announcement. We are
all sad about this an all fans from Germany wish you only the best!
Matt: thank you, I hope to visit Germany one day and perform for all the
fans! Thanks for all your prayers and support!!
WF: Matt, thx for the personal and truely interview. Merry Xmas and a
HAPPY New Year 2007!
Matt: Merry Christmas to you, thanks for the interview
